The Žofinka site is a post-industrial area with a rich metallurgical history, located in the immediate vicinity of Ostrava’s city centre. At the same time, it adjoins an attractive successional natural area and the Ostravice River. Our proposal creates a fully developed and diverse urban district that takes full advantage of its proximity to nature and is maximally integrated with the surrounding urban structure.
