The broad green axis of the unfinished Baťa-era urban concept culminates in Obuvnické Square, the principal public space connecting the new development with the existing town. In the Na Pohoří area, the axis transforms into a sequence of smaller neighbourhood squares linked to Zručský Dvůr. The curving composition is reflected in a green corridor that forms part of the pedestrian route connecting the château with the Babka lookout tower. The concept is complemented by a continuous belt of neighbourhood greenery and a park extending into the surrounding open landscape. Further opening the area towards Zručský Dvůr will be enabled by the transformation of the existing commercial warehouse buildings.
