Square of Stories

Few squares effectively define an entire town. The expansive square in Chabařovice has undergone transformation, yet it remains preserved and protected as a heritage site. It was once intended to be demolished along with the whole town, but in the end it survived.

The dominant Evangelical church with its adjacent buildings on the west, as well as the Chapel of St. Florian with surrounding houses on the east, have disappeared. We reveal these lost stories and inscribe them into the design of the individual parts of the square, allowing them to be rediscovered.
